WiLD: Women in Leadership Development

In conjunction with BioPharmaChem Skillnet, CareerVision & Dr. Margaret Kennedy of Kennedy Insights, we developed a unique program (WiLD – Women in Leadership Development) aimed at uncovering and dismantling obstacles to greater female participation at a leadership level in this industry/STEM sector.

This 6 month programme is immersive and uniquely tailored to each cohort of female participants.  It is informed by DEI research, by the voice of the female participants and by insights gleaned through years of working with women from all backgrounds.

A pilot programme was delivered in 2022 to women within a BioPharma organisation and the benefits were striking with 75% of participants making upward career moves, 100% stating an increased confidence in leadership potential and a programme Net Promoter Score of 92%.

A further 5 programmes are currently underway – the outputs and research data from which will be available this summer.  This will provide the industry with some rich insights into how to better enable leadership participation by their talented females.

The WiLD Programme

Our virtual/hybrid programme delivers a rich learning experience and has been designed to maximise engagement and learning quality by following best practice virtual delivery and inclusion methods. It is limited to a minimum of 12 participants and a maximum of 16 participants to ensure that the learning experience maximises engagement and learning for the group. We want to create an impactful and rich virtual experience, building deep relationships and establishing an ongoing WiLD community within the business.

Attendance at WiLD programmes is usually part of a wider business / DEI initiative.  Businesses are invited to sign up for one of our programme schedules below and we will be in touch to work out all the finer details.
