The delight at securing an interview can also bring a lot of stress that may prevent you from performing to your full potential. To impress an employer at interview, you must be very well prepared and understand the value of what you have to offer. You must be confident in relating your assets to the position/organisation and demonstrate how and why you will be an effective fit for this role. Many employers have now moved away from unstructured interviews to a more scientific approach using structured or competency based interview techniques to assess candidates. There is no real rocket science to success at these interviews – they merely require significant advance planning and practice. Our consultants have coached thousands of individuals in successful interview techniques and they will share their expertise in this practical workshop. It will focus on ensuring you can articulate your strengths, confidently address competency based interview questions, market yourself emphatically and control nerves.
