Career Vision consultants are currently engaging with a number of blue-chip companies to deliver employee mediation services.
When handling difficult employee situations it is important to create the right conditions for the underlying issues to emerge, be faced and begin to be acted upon. The needs of the organisation and the employees must be carefully balanced to ensure optimal outcomes for both parties.
Person-centred career counselling principles are employed, together with a solutions focused, independent and confidential approach, which aims to comfortably uncover personally acceptable and organisationally rational ways to resolve any conflict. By hearing all sides of the story the facilitator comes to understand the core dilemma, can encourage thought around possible solutions and can run potential scenarios with all involved.
Throughout the process, a safe, open and honest environment is created. The duration of the mediation service can vary from 2/3 days to 9/10 days depending on the severity of the situation.
