I recently returned to a management role after a five year break to run my own business. I now wish to write my CV to apply for better roles, aiming at an area managers role. I would like your advice on companies providing this service as I need assistance in terms of structuring a good quality CV.

Companies who offer this service are usually quite good. You could try CV Ireland (www.cvireland.com), who provide a remote service, which is comprehensive. You can work with them on your CV until you are happy with it. Costs are around 200 Euro.

CareerVision (www.careervision.ie) also offer such a service for individuals, which starts with a 1-1 consultation and then your CV is written after that once the consultant has an idea of what you want it for, the type of person you are and what you are offering. Costs are around 250 -300 Euro for this type of service.

It is easier to write a CV when you have a target job in mind - one which you'd really love to get offered. A good CV company will also let you know how to amend your CV to line it up with jobs you'll apply for in future. There are some good techniques on this front.
