Confidence Building

I am a student, just finished Masters and have a previous degree in a primary subject. I have never worked and am finding it hard to demonstrate any self confidence in interviews. The longer I am unemployed the harder I find it to motivate myself. Should I do more courses? What can I do?

Firstly you will have to build up your work confidence to progress into your area of expertise with a good interview. You should maybe investigate the Work Placement Programme that FAS are running - you can find it at www.fas.ie, and you'll see the range of positions they offer. You can work for 9 months in a company, work through a development programme and quite often the organization will take you on at the end, provided you make a positive impact whilst you're there. You can collect your JS benefit over the 9 months too.
